The artist
My artistic research is oriented towards the creation of a human figure modeled on the basis of warm and bright colors, in which faces are not always recognizables, and the bodies often get lost in the lights of the surrounding space. The painting process is consumed as fast as a vision, and it is like living an experience, with doubts, certainties, fears and joys. The art of portrait becomes the art of painting shadows and the face, often erased with the superimposition of layers of color, transforms itself becoming fleeting and elusive, but rich in pictorial matter.
